AD&D Deities:  Gnomes
Gnomes have a small pantheon of their own, which mixes wit and trickery with determined fighting.  Player characters, especially gnomes, may select from this pantheon.

Garl Glittergold is the greater god who leads this pantheon.  This lawful good witty trickster is also known for serious determination in battle.  He is the most popular of the deities of the gnomes, preferred by lawful good worshippers.  Gold is the standard sacrifice.

Baervan Wildwanderer, The Forest Gnome, is a lesser god of neutral good alignment.  His worshippers are drawn from the good and morally neutral gnomes, and he is known for mischief and thievery.  Fighters, fighter/thieves, and thieves tend to be most common among his followers.

Urdlen, The Crawler Below, is a lesser god who lusts for wealth and blood.  Using harmful trickery, this chaotic evil example of personal evil to be resisted is followed by evil gnomes of every stripe, especially thieves, fighters, and assassins.  Sacrifices to him take the form of the spilled blood of enemies or destroyed and buried jewelry.  He and his clerics are constantly at war with the other gnomish deities.

Segojan Earthcaller, a lesser god, is Deity of Earth and Nature.  Neutral good himself, he is worshipped by good and morally neutral alignments.  He is also the nearest that the gnomes have to a god of magic, and is followed by many gnomish illusionists.

Flandal Steelskin The Forger is a demigod, but worshipped by metalworkers.  He is neutral good.

The Multiverser Information Center
The complexity of creating a D&D character always reminds me of how much simpler it is to play

A consideration of time travel....

Temporal Anomalies in Popular Movies
There are enough time travel films out there now that most of the things which could go wrong in time have been shown on the silver screen.  This page applies a new conception of how time works (discussed in the
Multiverser® game system to help referees sort out game scenarios in which player characters travel in time) to unraveling the most popular of such movies.  An Event Horizon Hot Spot and Sci Fi Weekly Site of the Week which has won the author national recognition as an authority on time travel in fiction.
